Introduction

EUROARTS TILE & STONE provides top-tier services for individuals and businesses dedicated to maintaining and enhancing their interior and exterior hard surfaces, including shower stalls, countertops, walls, patios, building facades, and flooring. While we are committed to delivering
professional care, it is crucial to acknowledge the inherent risks  associated with the maintenance and restoration of these surfaces.

Scope of Services

Our company specializes in the safe and efficient cleaning, restoration, and protection of hard surfaces. Despite our rigorous safety measures and professional diligence, certain outcomes during the processing phase are beyond our reasonable control. Below, we outline several potential occurrences that clients should be aware of.

Colour Changes

Materials may change in color, shading, or luster during servicing. These variations can arise from inconsistencies in the manufacturing process, environmental exposure, general usage, previous treatments like sealers, or other variables. Servicing natural stone, in particular, may lead to unpredictable changes, even for experienced professionals.

Travertine

Travertine, a calcareous sedimentary stone formed in underground springs, can contain voids, holes, and pitting. Though these voids are often filled at the factory with resins or cement, such fills may become dislodged over time. Periodic maintenance, including refilling of voids, is
required. Please note that some holes might be missed during service due to their size or depth. The specific extent of fill work will be agreed upon and documented in the work order (with present client or not). Requests for additional hole filling after job completion will be subject to additional charges.

Water Migration

Water is necessary for grinding, honing, polishing stone, and cleaning tile and grout surfaces. While we will protect adjacent surfaces, we cannot be held liable for damage caused by water migrating through cracks or missing grout into nearby areas. Efflorescence, a light powdery substance, may appear as moisture dries, and we are not responsible for its removal without additional compensation. Although all reasonable efforts are made to limit moisture exposure, EUROARTS TILE & STONE is not responsible for any damage caused by moisture to MDF materials, especially in wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens.

Shower Stalls

Our services do not address waterproofing issues. We work on the surface materials—tiles, grout, glass, and caulking—but the waterproofing system is (or should be) behind these materials. Shower stall waterproofing is the responsibility of the builder, and we do not guarantee that our services will stop any leaks. Concerns related to leaks, floor construction, drainage, or waterproofing should be directed to the original builder.

Tile and Grout Repairs

We do not guarantee tile or grout repairs because previous tile or grout installation may have errors. For instance, cracked grout may be due to issues with subflooring, tile movement, or improper original installation. Since grout is a surface material, any cracks may indicate deeper
issues beyond our control.

Bathtub and Shower Drying Period

After any grout repair or re-caulking in the bathtub or shower, these areas need to stay dry for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure proper curing.
Professional Standards EUROARTS TILE & STONE adheres to professional industry standards, employing advanced equipment, cleaning solutions, and techniques. However, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains or prevent color changes that may occur during or after the restoration process. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions like sun damage or material wear that impact results.

Payment Terms

Payment for residential services is due upon job completion (C.O.D.). A 30% deposit is required at the time of scheduling, with the balance due on completion. For commercial accounts, unless credit terms are arranged in advance, payment is also due on completion. Overdue balances incur a finance charge of 2.5% per month. Any unpaid invoices beyond 30
days may result in collection fees and additional charges.

Cancellation and Date Changes

Once a job is booked, clients must notify within a minimum 72 hours notice to cancel or reschedule without risking the forfeiture of deposits.
Pricing and Quotes Cost estimates can be provided over the phone or email; however, firm quotes are only given after an on-site inspection on day one of service.

Furniture Moving

While we can assist with moving small items like chairs or tables, the customer is responsible for removing smaller or valuable items before our arrival. We do not move heavy or fragile items like large beds, wardrobes, or electronics.

Parking and Arrival Time

Clients must provide free on-site parking for our service vehicle. If pay parking is the only option, the customer is responsible for that expense. We also request a two-hour window for arrival due to potential traffic or delays at previous job sites. For the first appointment of the day, we can
offer a more specific time, typically between 8-10 am.

Safety

For the safety of our employees, large pets should be secured away from work areas, and children or smaller pets should be kept away from equipment and cleaning products. Caution is advised when walking over freshly cleaned hard surfaces, as they may be slippery until dry. All
occupants should avoid foot traffic on these surfaces until the floors are completely dry.

Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties, including but not limited to name, address, phone numbers, email address, and any billing and/or credit card information. Exceptions are necessary for processing
payments or collecting overdue accounts.

Service Guarantee

For residential services, if the results do not meet the pre-agreed expectations, we will return to redo the work at no extra charge. If we are still unable to meet expectations, we will refund the charges for those areas.
